Just finished watching it and this was such a good episode all over. They've really started to humanise Dexter a lot over the last three or so episodes too. The series began by watching an emmotionally "empty" individual satiate his need to kill week after week (as in what we saw week after week I mean). Now he's actually becoming a person who's able to recognise Deb's feelings of isolation (or at least, respond non-verbally with empathy), who actually now prefers "enchanting Rita over the worried [rape victim] one". A very heart-rending ending too. Possible spoiler: Anyone else buying into the "Rudy is Dexter's brother" theory?

That one was a stretch because it was impulsive, but the rest of the time he gets away with it because he’s a cop and knows how to do it all right. I love the professionalism of his kills, the tarpaulin and neatly packaged limbs.

Haha, that bit was so great. Only Dexter could make such a face after what he had just done.

I think such moments are one of the drawbacks of the series. Dexter gets away with too much stuff in the close vicinity of other people.
