To date I think Jo, Gemma and my mum have expressed extreme distaste at it. I don’t know why they take it as such a personal affront – when it bothered me, it was just a sympathetic pain because it sounded like it hurt. I think the sound is just inherently disturbing until you’ve done it yourself.
