Just posted this today, via the ever-brilliant Waxy.org. On my life, I haven’t laughed so long or so hard at anything since the original lolrus, and I can’t stress enough what I say in the post: this is exponentially funnier the louder you play it.
Pentadact: Wait wait wait, the lolrus is dead? And he was never actually a walrus, but Japan's largest seal? Is nothing sacred?
Seniath: Yeees, a friend showed me this earlier. While I missed out on the initial rickrolling fad (don't frequent SA, or 4chan, or which ever dank pit of the internets it was spawned in) I have experienced the after effect. This, certainly, is one of the best, but doesn't quite reach the heights of http://xkcd.com/351/. My obsession with 'meta' is a running joke amongst my friends, so the concept of meta-rickrolling just hits a certain spot little else can touch.
Pentadact: It's possible you're not listening to it loud enough.
Seniath: I'm in the computing lab, I doubt the others would appreciate it. Saying that, we were playing it earlier, and we discovered that someone on our course actually has the song on his iPod. This worried us somewhat.

An unknown php script is randomly causing 15-second chokings of my server's CPU, ultimately hogging so much of its time that my host suspend this entire website for a few minutes. So I've snipped all non-essential elements until I can diagnose it. Apologies if you've encountered one of these CPU Exceeded screens. Believe it or not, what would help most with my diagnosis is lots and lots of people visiting James as often as possible over the next few days. Rolo desserts are also effective.
