Hello! I'm Tom. I designed a game called Gunpoint, about rewiring things and punching people, and now I'm working on a new one called Heat Signature, about sneaking aboard randomly generated spaceships. Here's some more info on all the games I've worked on, here's the podcast I do, here are the videos I make on YouTube, here are some of the articles I wrote for PC Gamer, and here are two short stories I wrote for the Machine of Death collections.
Gmail’s new look is optional – FOR NOW – in the same way that Twitter’s was – FOR A WHILE THERE. And like Twitter’s, it’s sort of vaguely pretty but twice as awkward to use for all of my most common tasks.
I just found a script that lops off most of the wasted headspace that scrunches all the e-mails down, even in Compact mode, and it’s made a huge difference for me.
Works natively in Chrome, needs Greasemonkey in Firefox.
It’s weird how all the extra spacing made the default view look claustrophobic. To a certain mindset, white space isn’t open air, it’s the walls closing in.
Tom Francis: Set Status Her? I hardly know her.
Zacmanman: I feel like it's a little too compact, even if it's welcome.
Caleb: I'm just annoyed that you can't use my custom theme anymore. I mean, it was just bright yellow, bright red, and baby blue on black. It was only an atrocity to look at, but NOOOOO, I can't create custom themes anymore. :(
chequers: No search bar? Are you crazy?!
Jason L: Ctrl-K Kthx
Wesman: I miss this : http://i.imgur.com/r... ...sCXB.jpg
Tom Francis: H brings back the search box, but I do think that's one thing it could improve: there's room for it between the action buttons and the pageturners on that single navigation line.
Don't post them here, I'm a useless idiot! E-mail tech support with as much detail about your system and the problem as possible, and they can actually do something.
