Update! A song from the new Low, called Breaker, is up on their site in video form:

http://www.chairkickers.com/video/Low_Breaker.mov

It is perhaps the worst music video ever made.

Dudes and dudettes! The ever-glorious Fluxblog has upped a track from the new Ted Leo <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Fluxblog/~3/103331203/music-is-master-cant-you-hear-it.html" rel="nofollow">hereabouts</a>

It is toe-tappingly tragic.

There IS a message board that more or less ALWAYS upload leaked albums like this. I had the new Modest Mouse and Ted Leo a month ago++. Baiscally people upload albums on sites like sendspace and gigasize and post them on the board. There is also a lot of obscure music, b-sides and live recordings.

If that's not your cup of tea though, I guess you could read the thread names to get an idea.

Actually, it's a rather interesting point. The closest thing I can think of would be sites like Last.FM and the like, which offer RSS feeds of when someone reccomends you a song (although I know you've had problems with them in the past), but indeed - it could be an interesting idea for the record companies and artists to take note of..
