I’ve been meaning to write properly about why Veronica Mars is so awesome at some point before it kicks off again on the third of October, but for now I’m just messing around with clips. This is my first embed, so wish me luck. It’s one of my favourite moments from the second series:

The_B: Out of interest, what plugin are you using to embed with Tom, or are you just using the direct embed code? It wouldn't work for me when I tried so I had to get the MyTube plugin.

 
Pentadact: Just pasted the text from the 'embed' box on the video's page.
 

The_B: Interesting - when I tried that it firstly threw my pages out of line and then just wouldn't even put a placeholder or anything, just ended up with a rather screwed up looking page. Spent a fun hour trying what little I knew to try and get it working before looking on the WordPress website and being told that it apprently didn't support active content such as YouTube or something without additional third party plugins.

erdniS: Ah good one. A fellow Veronica Mars fan. I had no idea they got a new season. That's great. Especially with the tough competition that's out there today on the series. It's a fucking warzone.

 
Pentadact: Yeah, I think one of the network execs must be a fan. They cancelled a lot of much higher-rated shows than Mars. Like Firefly, it has a small but utterly fanatical fanbase.

Pentadact: Yes, I did just compare my web design skills to the abilities of Superman.
 

nabeel: I really liked Veronica Mars, a fun and smart show. A bit of film noir/detective pastiche in there, wasn't there?
